The section about "Fever" is more appropriate at Fever (Little Willie John song), such as most other cover songs are formatted. Adabow (talk · contribs) 04:07, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

• Agree That is very true... Madonna's version garnered more attention than Beyonce's, and she didn't even get her own page (see the discussion here)... I just fear how relevant other wiki-users will find the Heat (EP) article after the information of "Fever" is taken out Theuhohreo (talk) 13:05, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

      • I could see the EP being merged with the fragrance if it doesn't gain much more attention, but I think that the song should definitely be merged to the original. Adabow (talk · contribs) 07:10, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

          • Even if the song was notable by itself, most covers are bundled with the original's article. See Love Don't Live Here Anymore, When You Believe and Kissing You (Des'ree song). Adabow (talk · contribs) 07:19, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

              • Other singers record songs to promote the album. I mean, if the song were to be merged with the fragrance then you could argue that Still in Love (Kissing You) be merged with B'Day.                 • Adabow, my point is that when the song will be merged to the original, you will definitely have to mention over there that beyonce recorded it for her fragrance. The video also shows her fragrance Heat. I mean the song is entirely connected to it. That's why i thought that it would be better to merge it with the fragrance's article. • Support merging I don't support merging with the fragrance article. Heat may be merged with the fragrance article, but not the song. Why merge the song article with the fragrance one when there is an article on the song? Novice7 (talk) 09:42, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

• Neutral Even it is a cover, someday someone from Madonna wikiproject (Legolas) or someone from Knowles wikiproject will clean up the page and it will be alot of information. Little Willie John version currenlty is missing many information, Madonna version as well, the other notable covers too, so if you believe it would be OK to have a >200Kb page, merge it. That is a very good point – I hadn't thought of that. The original and Madonna's version were both released as singles (maybe others' too), so it will be quite heavy. I wonder if we merge for now, and if the article gets too big we can split off a section (Madonna?) or two. Adabow (talk · contribs) 08:27, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

• Support - Merge song with song and fragrance with EP - First of all, there is no reason why the song should not be under John's song. Madonna's is far more notable, as well as the fact that several very popular covers still don't have their own page. I say to merge the EP with the fragrance, and then merge the song to the Willie song, having only a small subsection for it in the EP.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 07:05, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
