Merger

edit

A page entitled Government Emergency Telephone System seems to describe the same system as this article, and even uses much of the same content. As this title appears to be the actual, official, name, anything useful there should be merged into this article. The other one should be made into a redirect. Mother's Day phenomenon

edit

This need clarification. The page mentions this as being well documented, without citing or defining the scope of the problem. Web searching for it doesn't yield any useful results (top hit is the GETS wikipedia page) I would assume it has something to do with large volumes of long distance calls being made to contact far-flung mothers, but this is only an educated guess. 82.18.84.227 (talk) 23:44, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should the actual number be published?

edit

I mean honestly it is not suppose to be for public use and by publishing your inviting people who have no right whatsoever to try and access a government protected network. Also I would believe that publishing the 710 phone number would fall under Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia is not a directory. So my suggestion is to remove it ASAP.
