Historic site status

edit

This appears not to be listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, but it is a historic site (e.g. it is discussed by Kansas State Historical Society), hence I put it into wp:HSITES. --doncram 20:24, 1 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Glen or Glenn?

edit

The KSHS source which is the sole source in the article so far names "Glenn Mitchell", while the article was created at Glen Mitchell House. Should the article be revised, and moved to Glenn Mitchell House? Perhaps the article creator knows more. --doncram 20:34, 1 March 2017 (UTC) P.S. Pun not intended! --doncram 20:36, 1 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Press clipping from Hutchinson, Kansas uses only one "n", but I have no idea. SusunW (talk) 21:19, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
And the NRHP document mainly about Goff works in Oklahoma refers to it as the Glen Mitchell House with one "n". For now I'll say the "Glenn" spelling is an outlier and not worth mentioning in the article as an alternative spelling. --doncram 21:24, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Guide to Kansas Architecture, by David H. Sachs & George Ehrlich (1996), p. 309, has "Glen Mitchell House." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.17.178.22 (talk) 21:03, 27 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
