“ The sunflower is eggs in the perimeter of the foliar fertilization of chickens.” makes exactly zero sense. Such sentences do not inspire confidence in the general veracity of this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8004:12C1:E40E:110E:66B7:A130:4477 (talk) 01:32, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I don't they should be merged, per se, because foliar spraying includes pesticides, and any other kind of spraying one might do.

Foliar feeding is specifically the delivery of nutrients to a plant through foliage. --Kaz 20:17, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I do not see any sources that cite any proof of foliar fertilization or it's mode of action. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.84.244.12 (talk) 14:56, 28 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

have added references to publication of the original 1950s research and to contemporary papers on this subject. The section on kelp needs references...over to other editors on that.sinarau (talk) 02:03, 29 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

See https://ipm.missouri.edu/MPG/2019/4/foliarFeeding/ for a much better explanation of the consequences of foliar feeding. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:7081:F00:7C00:954F:4F51:E866:4A56 (talk) 14:00, 24 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

A lot of statments in this article need to be backed up by references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.163.8.100 (talk) 18:13, 19 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

possible bad science

edit

It is known that tools and equipment in the 50's field experiment conducted are either not proper calibrated nor clean properly to prevent bad false positive. Many scientist cannot replicate experiment results. Today, foliar feeding enable a multi-billions business and no solid evidence show that foliar feeding works consistently. Tan S.L. Which 1950s field experiment are you referring to, you provide no source? How did it become "known" and by whom, that there were material errors in this experiment? What "experiment results" are "many scientist" (sic) unable to replicate? You offer no solid evidence of "no solid evidence". Sources are required. Plantsurfer 18:41, 30 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
