Operation Monopoly

edit

No mention of "Operation Monopoly," the U.S. government Cold War-era plan to tunnel under the then-Soviet embassy to install a listening post? See [1] & [2]. It certainly merits its own article, not just inclusion in this one. I'll work on it if I can find the time. D Monack (talk) 20:34, 13 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Boris Nemtsov Plaza

edit

I have added some information concerning the 2018 renaming of the street directly in front of the embassy to Boris Nemtsov Plaza in honor of Boris Nemtsov, a vocal critic of Putin who was slain by assassins in 2015. If you have any more information to add concerning this subject please feel free to contribute. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theusernamethatisnotalreadytaken (talkcontribs) 03:36, 22 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
