"Natural history following the divergence of the subfamily Caprinae" is wrong

The section "Natural history following the divergence of the subfamily Caprinae" contains some statements that simply can not be correct, and cites no sources for them.

I do not have a better source to cite than my gut, but my gut tells me that these statements are ludicrous.

It says that sheep evolved in "the Mesoamerica" and goats evolved in South America.

Could someone with more time on their hands than I please find a source and rewrite this paragraph, citing the source? CbonnerNH (talk) 21:15, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
