It seems to me this page does not sound very "encyclopaedic". The tone and content needs to be changed somewhat... Adqam 13:47, 16 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

I concur, and I submit my poor efforts to improve the article. Can we agree to remove the deletion notice? Mmccalpin 17:51, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Absolutely :-) — QuantumEleven | (talk) 20:35, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
(addendum: however, I just read the rules - we'd best leave it to the admin who reviews the request for deletion to take off the notice. Let's wait a week, if nothing happens, we can talk again about taking it off). — QuantumEleven | (talk) 20:38, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
I was merely seeking agreement, which should be all the easier with the subsequent updates. — Mmccalpin 22:13, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Graeme Garden

Me again. Just curious, Mmccalpin - where did you get the reference to Graeme Garden from? According to his wikipedia article, he was a Footlight (EEEEEVIL), but it makes no mention of CULES... but, then, Wikipedia isn't exactly 100% accurate, so please tell me if you know something I don't (very likely!). — QuantumEleven | (talk) 20:41, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Smashing improvement on my feeble efforts, QuantumEleven. I found the reference to Graeme Garden and CULES at:
http://standanddeliver.blogs.com/dombo/2005/02/my_chat_with_gr.html
Wikipedia may not be completely accurate, indeed, but there's no guarantee about that blog I referenced either! — Mmccalpin 22:13, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
I've added the reference, Mmccalpin - thanks! — QuantumEleven | (talk) 08:42, 25 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Page move

edit

I propose we move this page to Cambridge University Light Entertainment Society, and make CULES and Cules redirects. The page title would thus be more correct and complete. Objections, opinions, rants? — QuantumEleven | (talk) 08:29, 24 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
