Overall:   Second ref now unfortunately a dead link (have tried to fix at source), however plenty of other references inc. for Breshwood being reassigned; good to go, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 10:39, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

To T:DYK/P4

Were Breshwood and the ship's two lieutenants the only officers?

edit

@Hog Farm: just a quick query, before the DYK for this article goes live - the hook says that "the officers" of the ship remained and entered Confederate service, while the article names three officers - Breshwood, Caldwell and Fister - explicitly. Does the source say that those three constituted all of the ship's officers? Since that is implied by the hook, it would be good to add a line to the article confirming that those three were indeed all of the officers, to make sure the hook fact is fully covered. @Amakuru: - You're right, this is very poor phrasing on my part. Sources don't say that these were the only officers, so I'll go tweak the hook in the prep to reflect that. Hog Farm Talk 13:32, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
