Speedy deletion rationale

edit

Yes, there is a rule by this name, but the current content doesn't say anything about it, other than the fact that because of a typo in some work a while back, some people think it's called something else. Until someone actually wants to write an article about it, let's remove the article. —Largo Plazo (talk) 00:53, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, there is sufficient context to identify the subject, so I have declined the speedy. Of course, there's always WP:PROD and WP:AfD if you still want to pursue deletion. decltype (talk) 05:25, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ubale source

edit

While the journal on which Ubale is published may be predatory, please see Wikipedia:Reliable sources#Predatory journals in that the issue is that the source should not be considered peer reviewed. In this case, what is written by Ubale is mathematically correct, so the issue of not being peer-reveiwed is less relevant. Math does not lie (although errors can exist :) ). -- Avi (talk) 17:36, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Moot. Less-accessible but non-predatory source found. -- Avi (talk) 20:00, 6 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Converting Lisp to Python

edit

Very few numerical coders today would use Lisp. would anyone object to my rewriting the example code implementing this rule in Python? Joezuntz (talk) 13:51, 28 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
