"Bay View incident" is as close as I've found to a common name for this topic. Gordon uses "Bay View incident" (p. 19) and Avrich doesn't name it. There's a careful balance of NPOV here. As the bombing is intertwined with the rally, shooting, and trial, it would be inappropriate to call it the Milwaukee police headquarters bombing as if the headquarters was targeted. It could be expanded to be about the Bay View anarchists as a group, but I don't think they were notable for anything besides this incident, right? And then it doesn't need a year prefix (e.g., 1917 Bay View incident) as the topic can be sufficiently distinguished without it, considering that it's not the Bay View massacre. czar 19:29, 2 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
