We have one editor with a confirmed COI working on this article, and another who is at least doing WP:ADVOCACY but may also be a paid editor. See

Hello:

I am a new Wikipedia user. Yay!

I would like to add 4 sentences with external links/references to the BHA page from New York Times, NPR, MSNBC, and Men's Journal.

I am planning to make the edit in the body of the BHA page. Please let me know if this is OK and I should proceed. Thought I would insert in talk first since I am new.

The NPR ref is good - it is what we call a reliable secondary source. the NYT piece is op ed by head of the organization, the mensjournal is opinion promoting the campaign, and i don't watch news so i don't know what that even says. but if you want content like : The organization opposed the proposal to privatize public lands made in the early days of the Trump administration" the npr ref would be a fine source for that. Please do see WP:PROMO, which is policy. Jytdog (talk) 23:57, 3 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

"Criticism" section

edit

I've removed the stubbish "Criticism" section for now, because the source used for it is thin to the point of uselessness — we can't include hearsay criticism from unnamed, unspecified "conservative watchdog groups." We need to be able to specify what these groups are and what they are claiming. I'm sure there's some better sources out there that criticize this group, but we need to find them first, and not simply shortcut the sourcing process. Hi there! I found this article on the Community Portal and added a couple of internal links in accordance with the recommendations. The links I added included non-profit, public lands, and off-road vehicles. Let me know if these are appropriate! -Isabellamiaa (talk) 22:20, 27 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
