Cannot infect humans?

edit

The Danish article claims that the roughly 1000 yearly occurrences of ascariasis in Denmark are mainly caused by exposure to pig manure. With this in mind, the claim that Ascaris suum cannot infect humans seems dubious. I will rewrite the claim - feel free to be bold and re-insert it, with citations.

I've removed from the article a large amount of material copy-pasted from this doctoral thesis. It should not be restored to the page until and unless OTRS permission is received from the copyright holder. However, editors might like to consider whether some earlier content should be restored instead. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 22:07, 8 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism?

edit

-looks like vandalism but still present Jan 2019:
Paratenic hosts ingest the eggs and the L2 larvae remains in the tissues of the paratenic host until a pig eats it. These may include beetles and earthworms, as well as large to jumbo sized chicken eggs from at-risk fowl.
