Current version

edit

The current version is PageMaker 7.0, released July 9, 2001, though updates have been released for the two supported platforms since.
If updates have been released since, then how is it the current version? --Galaxiaad 15:26, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)

It's been updated from 7.0 to 7.0.1 and 7.0.1a.

Typical Adobe update schedule. Release a major version then release one "point" update and maybe a minor update to the update. Next release another major version update, no matter how many problems are left in the previous version, never release another update to the previous version.

About the only Adobe product to break from that was Photoshop 5.0, which did get updated to 5.0.2 before the release of 5.5, which had only minor updates for its web gallery plugin, an HTML patch for working with ImageReady 2.0 and an update for the Tour and Training. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.186.114.230 (talk) 2005-12-15T13:08:48 (UTC)

AMX Pagemaker

edit

Just wondering why searching for Pagemaker on wiki doesn't find AMX pagemaker (http://www.owonder.com/pagemaker_bbc/index.php) which claims to be the first DTP program? I can only find reference to this one by Adobe?
