– Per WP:LOWERCASE and WP:TITLECON. Better conforms to the naming convention used for U.S. congressional districts. For example:

- Vermont's at-large congressional district

Long term, the consensus reached here could potentially be applied to Vermont House of Representatives districts and Massachusetts General Court districts as well (Vermont and Massachusetts are the few states that use county names in their legislative districts, as opposed to strict numerical naming). - I am concerned that the proposed titles make it sound like there is, e.g., a thing called "Addison Senate" and the article is about Vermont having a district for this Addison Senate. These are all placenames in Vermont, and I would suggest something more like Senate district of Addison, Vermont (if the district corresponds to the place), or Addison district, Vermont Senate if that is just the name of the district. - A valid concern. District names correspond to the county they cover. You could make an argument that the current formation is also somewhat misleading because it makes it sound like it's the Senate district for the town of Addison, Vermont, when it's really for Addison County, Vermont. Certainly open to a Addison district (Vermont Senate) alternative - although I'd recommend parentheses instead. Woko Sapien (talk) 18:42, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- I would suggest Addison (Vermont Senate district) is the least awkward and clearest possible formulation. Number 57 15:54, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Also an acceptable alternative. Woko Sapien (talk) 14:56, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
