List

edit

Just curious, but is there any real method for the listings? b/c they don't seem to be in any particular order.69.249.20.210 (talk) 22:25, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge with Accipitrimorphae

edit

This more recent article is covering the same ground and subject as the pre-existing and much more complete article on "Accipiter" besiegedtalk 23:50, 6 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

I can understand merging Accipitrimorphae with Accipitriformes, but why merge a genus and a much higer clade? That makes no sense. Not all raptors are members of the genus Accipiter and to have info NW vulture systematics on this page is irrelevant.4444hhhh (talk) 04:09, 7 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Besieged: I agree with 4444hhhh; it would be completely inappropriate to merge Accipitrimorphae (which contains species of many genera) into a single genus article, though it might be merged into Accipitriformes. MeegsC (talk) 21:18, 19 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Actually, looking at Accipitrimophae, it's not even appropriate to merge with Accipitriformes, as it includes species not in that order! MeegsC (talk) 22:56, 19 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
