Division 2 clubs

edit

Can you provide reliable sources to confirm that Gen. Trias International and Sta Lucia FC are already part of Division 2? The article cited telling these clubs are now in Div. 2 is vague and subject to debate. --Bernejay (talk) 05:40, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Guidelines in updating League table and Results table

edit

When updating the league tables and results table please observe the dates the recent matches were played, the approximate time the final whistle blew at the last fixture of the particular match day, and what the "home" and "away" teams are. Please base the team draws at the UFL Philippines official website. Specific instructions are indicated in the source codes of the league tables and the results tables. Thank you. --Bernejay (talk) 02:12, 6 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

" The home team is listed in the left-hand column." There are no home teams here. I'd presume the first "score" is for the team at the leftmost column, and the second "score" is the one at the topmost row? For example, Nomands won 1-0 vs Pachanga, and Kaya lost 1-2 to Stallion? –HTD 19:39, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Remember that this is a league competition following a double round-robin format and therefore has a sort-of "home-and-away" format between teams per round, although matches are played in only a single venue. For instance at the first round, Kaya was drawn as the "home" team in their first round match vs. "away" team Stallion. Stallion as the "home" team will then play Kaya in the second round, which will be held after the mid-season transfer window in late March. This is apparently used to avoid confusion in inputting scores on the "Results" table on this article. --Bernejay (talk) 09:53, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
This is home-and-away only in name. It does look like that the first score (the one before the dash) is for the team in the left-most column, while the one to the right is for the team at the top-most row; this has to be indicated somewhere. If this isn't the case there's no way for the reader to know which goal total is for what team, which means we have to devise a way to make it clearer for everybody. –HTD 18:12, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
