Some thoughts

edit

As was noted in Talk:1991 Grand National, this article looks absolutely excellent. I've got a couple of thoughts on the racecard;

Owner's names - for consistency with earlier Nationals, should we have full names here rather than initials? The names are available on the Aintree website linked.
Weights. Should the actual weights carried be shown as well as the handicap weights? The bottom three ran from out of the handicap and carried the minimum 10 stone. --Bcp67 (talk) 18:11, 16 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I propose to add these images. They can be presented either as a racecard in numerical order, or as below in order of finishing (JockeyColours (talk) 22:35, 25 March 2014 (UTC)) -Done. Also took the image of the winner's colours to place in the info box. Think this would make a good addition to previous Nationals. Captainbeecher (talk) 10:51, 6 April 2014 (UTC) Thanks for adding. I'm frustrated with the way the image captions wrap around, so looking for alternative ways to present - see Talk page of Grand National 2014. Really like the winner image in the infobox. Have added a "placed horses" image underneath the infobox on GN14 - in the mighty Grand National the placed horses are "winners" too!(JockeyColours (talk) 20:47, 6 April 2014 (UTC))Reply
