editMisumi Station is the terminus of the Misumi Line, and lies 25.6 km from the starting point of the line at Uto. It is also the one of the termini for the A-Train limited express, which operates between Misumi and Kumamoto Station.

History
editThe station opened on 25 December 1899.[1] With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR Kyushu.[1]
