Adam Dovile is an Australian builder and television presenter.

Since 2015, Dovile has been a presenter on the Seven Network's lifestyle program Better Homes and Gardens.[1]

He was also the winner of the second season of House Rules in 2014 alongside his wife Lisa Lamond.[2]

Early life

Adam was born in Melbourne and was born into a large Sicillian family who owned a family pizza restaurant, where Dovile spent much of his youth.[3]

Television

Dovile and his girlfriend Lisa Lamond applied for the second season of House Rules, with Dovile becoming a fan favourite. The couple won the series, and the major prize of getting their mortgage paid off.[4]

Better Homes and Gardens

In 2015 it was announced Dovile would be joining the Seven Network's long-running lifestyle show Better Homes and Gardens alongside Demi Harman, as the program's building and DIY expert replacing Rob Palmer.[5]

For his work on the show, Dovile won Best New Talent at the Logie Awards of 2016.[6]

In 2024, Dovile became the longest serving presenter on Better Homes and Gardens, surpassing ten years on air.[citation needed]

All New Monty: Guys and Gals

In 2020 it was announced Dovile would take part in the television series All New Monty: Guys and Gals.[7] Dovile was one of 15 Australian celebrities who stripped nude in order to raise funds for men and women's cancer.[8] Dovile revealed he was doing the show to support his father who has been battling prostate cancer since 2017.[9]

Dancing With The Stars

In February 2024, Dovile was announced as one of the celebrities preparing to compete on the 21st season of Dancing with the Stars, to be paired with professional dancer Jess Raffa.[10]

Personal life

Dovile and wife Lisa married in 2016 and have two daughters.[11][12]

Dovile is a fan of Collingwood.[citation needed]
