There is a bit of a problem with this category in that it also seems to seek to document ongoing unit deployments. The problem is that aside from implications of national security of the United States there are also ongoing reorganizations and reflaging of units which would need to be maintained, and it seems Wikipedia is not the appropriate resource for this information. --Mrg3105 22:19, 25 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

In the first place, ongoing deployments are part of the Lineage of a unit, and are correctly included in the specific unit history. In addition, those deployments are part of the Order Of Battle of a conflict, and again are so included. The primary problem with this category is that it is too all-inclusive, and it isn't specific enough. This can be taken care of by creating lower level sub-categories, and I'll get that started. - SSG Cornelius Seon (Retired) (talk)
