Rename page?

- What English-language sources use an English-language title intentionally (meaning not just databases that may just scrape from IMDb or each other)? Wanted to see if the Swedish-language title is perhaps best. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 14:54, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- I see what you mean, and you bring up a good point! While moving the page, I did find a redirect from "Hårda Viljor" to "Iron Wills (1923)" and in my haste assumed it was the previous name of the article. Either way, I cannot seem to find any source (apart from the types you mentioned) that suggests there even is an official English title. According to the Swedish Film Database, there are three distribution titles (and, obviously, the original title: Hårda viljor : En Nordlandskomedi): Haarde Viljer (Denmark), Lujatahtoisia (Finland), and Hårda Viljor (also Finland). Due to its age and the fact that the Swedish Film Database doesn't list an English title, I'm inclined to believe that the film was never released in an English-speaking country. With that in mind, would it cause confusion to change the title to the original Swedish title if the film is known as Iron Wills in English (even if it is know as such because of eg. - I think it's most appropriate to have this article title in its native language, but we can make sure hatnotes and redirects are set up accordingly. For example, the hatnote at Iron Will can mention this film. Iron Wills and Iron Wills (1923 film) can both redirect to the native-language article title.
