Lincoln Davies

Lincoln L. Davies is an American legal academic.

Davies obtained a Bachelor's of Science in natural resources and environment at the University of Michigan, followed by a Juris Doctor at Stanford Law School. He joined the University of Utah faculty in 2007, where he was later appointed associate dean for academic affairs and Hugh B. Brown Presidential Endowed Chair in Law within the S.J. Quinney College of Law.[1] In 2019, Davies succeeded Alan C. Michaels as dean of Ohio State University's Moritz College of Law.[2] During his deanship, Davies additionally held the Frank R. Strong Chair in Law.[3][4] Davies stepped down at the end of his first term as dean, and was replaced by L. Camille Hébert on an acting basis.[5][6]
