Production
editIn March 2023, it was announced that an action comedy film titled Grand Death Lotto was in development at Amazon Studios. Paul Feig had been hired to direct, written by Rob Yescombe, and produced by Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Feig, and Laura Fischer. John Cena, Zack Roth and Yescombe will serve as executive producers. Cena, Awkwafina, and Simu Liu were cast in the main roles.[3] Ayden Mayeri, Seann William Scott, Dolly de Leon and Donald Elise Watkins joined the cast later in the month.[4]
Principal photography began by March 2023 in Atlanta.[4]
